Experience
For the last three years, I've been teaching ESL in South Korea, Russia, and China. Before going abroad, I tutored high school students in Latin and college students in music theory. I also taught Latin part-time from 2010-2012 at a local elementary school. In addition to textbooks and written work, I use music, crafts, and current events (even films, from time to time) to help students make connections to other subjects, thus solidifying the knowledge they are processing. I love my subjects and have a passion for sharing them with other people. I have enjoyed teaching students of all ages and hope to continue doing so for a long time. I wish to impart my own love for learning.
